Sichuan Green Beans & Mushrooms

  • 1lb green beans

  • 1/2lb mushrooms, diced

  • 2 tsp chili garlic paste

  • 3 green onions, diced

  • 1 1/2 tbsp garlic, diced

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp oil

  1. Heat oiled pan on medium high.

  2. Add green beans and cook for 3 mins then add mushrooms. Cook for an additional 3 mins.

  3. Add garlic, green onions & chili paste and stir.

  4. Add soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and water. Cook for a minute or so.

  5. Enjoy!


Notes/Quick Tips:

  • If you want to tone down the spice you can add 1 tsp chili garlic paste. If you want to add spice, you can put in crushed red peppers.

  • If you don’t like mushrooms, you can leave them out or add any other veggie, i.e. asparagus etc.
