Quick Korean Beef

Ingredients:


Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 3 green onions, chopped

Ingredients:

  • 1lb lean ground beef

  • 1 tbsp garlic, diced

  • 1 tsp ginger, diced

  • Sesame seeds for topping

Preparation:

  1. Heat a large skillet on medium high heat. Add a little oil.

  2. Add ground beef to the pan and brown. Empty any grease left over from the beef.

  3. While beef is cooking, add all sauce ingredients in a medium bowl. Set aside.

  4. Add garlic & ginger to beef and cook for 1-2 mins.

  5. Add sauce to beef. Cook for 2 mins then turn down to low and let simmer for 5 mins. Be sure to stir consistently.

  6. Serve over rice or noodles.

  7. Top with sesame seeds and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Try this with ground turkey, pork or chicken. You can even do a tofu version if you are vegetarian.
