Ingredients:

  • 8 - Egg Roll Wrappers

  • 2 Cups - Cooked Steak Strips

  • 1 - Small Onion

  • 1 - Green Pepper

  • 4 Slices - Provolone

  • 3 TBSP - Olive Oil

  • 1 Each - Egg

  • 1 TBSP - Water

  • 1 Tsp - Garlic Powder

  • Salt

Preparation:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 390º.

  2. Slice pepper and onion into thin strips. Cut provolone slices in half.

  3. Heat oil in a small pan over medium high heat.

  4. Once oil is hot, add onions and peppers along with garlic powder and salt to taste.

  5. Cook for 5-7 minutes until onions are slightly caramelized and peppers are soft.

  6. Remove from heat and cool.

  7. Meanwhile, beat egg with 1 TBSP of water.

  8. Brush egg roll with beaten egg.

  9. Lay 1/2 slice of provolone towards one corner of wrapper.

  10. Top with some steak strips, and peppers and onions.

  11. Lift corner up over mixture, fold in sides, and continue to roll to opposite corner until rolled into egg roll shape.

  12. Continue until all rolls are completed.

  13. Brush both sides of rolls with remaining egg mixture.

  14. Place in air fryer for 4 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes or until golden brown.

  15. Serve and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Serve with a side of creamy horseradish as a yummy dip.

  • If you don't have an air fryer, you can bake these if a 400º oven for about 15 minutes flipping after about 10 minutes.

  • Get creative! Use leftover steak or deli roast beef for a quick put together.
