No Yeast, No Rise Quick Bread

Ingredients:

  • 500 Grams - All Purpose Flour

  • 2 Tsp - Baking Powder

  • 1 Tsp - Salt

  • 1 TBSP - Italian Seasoning

  • 310 ML - Water

  • 2 Tsp - Butter, melted

  • Eggwash (1 egg mixed with 1 TBSP water)

Preparation:

  1. Place a heavy baking sheet or pizza stone in oven and preheat to 375º.

  2. Mix dry ingredients together, then add water and melted butter.

  3. Stir to combine, then use hands to shape into a round disc 1" to 1-1/2" thick.

  4. Place on hot baking sheet or pizza stone and brush the top with egg wash.

  5. Score and X across the top of the bread and sprinkle with extra italian seasonings.

  6. Cook for 35 minutes until done.

  7. Serve and enjoy!

Tips:

  • The dough will not cook properly if more than the thickness stated above.

  • Use only regular flour as this recipe does not work well with other types of flour.

  • Test for doneness by tapping on the top of bread. If it sounds hollow, it's finished!

  • Get creative! Add different spices or citrus zest for exciting flavor combinations!
