Ham & Cheese Croissant Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb ham, chopped in pieces

  • 2 croissants ripped into small pieces

  • 2 green onions, diced

  • 8 large eggs

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp oregano/Italian seasoning

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a large bowl, add eggs, milk and seasonings. Stir to combine making sure all eggs are mixed thoroughly. Set aside.

  3. Grease a 9 x 13 pan with spray or butter.

  4. Add croissant pieces on the bottom.

  5. Then add ham pieces.

  6. Sprinkle green onion over ham then add 1 cup cheese.

  7. Pour egg mixture on top then add remainder cheese.

  8. Place in oven for 45min to 1 hr or until knife comes out clean and the egg casserole is set.

  9. Remove from oven, let cool for 5 mins then cut into pieces.

  10. Serve with rice and Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Don’t have ham? Add bacon or sausage!

  • Vegetarian- remove ham and add another vegetable such as asparagus or broccoli.
