Ingredients:

  • 1 Pkg. - Slider Buns

  • 1 Lb. - Ribeye Steak

  • 1 Each - Onion

  • 1 Lb. - Baby Bella Mushrooms

  • 1 Tsp. - Minced Garlic

  • 4 TBSP - Mayo

  • 1/4-1/2 Lb. - Provolone Cheese

  • 1 TBSP - Worchestire Sauce

  • 4 TBSP - Butter

  • 2 TBSP - Olive Oil

  • Salt & Pepper

Preparation:

  1. In a large skillet, melt 3 TBSP of butter over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until translucent, then add mushrooms. Cook until tender, then remove from pan.

  2. Slice meat as thinly as possible, first with the grain, then against the grain, cutting into small pieces.

  3. Add remaining butter and olive oil to the same pan as you cooked the mushroom and onion mixture.

  4. Once melted and pan has reheated, add the meat, season with some salt and pepper, then cook until done.

  5. Add onions and mushrooms back to the pan and cook together for about another minute or two.

  6. Mix together garlic and mayo and spread on each half of the slider bun. Add some cheese and meat mixture.

  7. Serve and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Use any kind of cheese you like such as american or fontina.

  • Although ribeye provides a lot of flavor, you could use ground beef or london broil.

  • Get creative! For a carb free version, omit the sliders and use mini peppers. I roasted the peppers for about 5 minutes at 350º to soften a bit.
