Beef & Rice with Marinara

Ingredients:

  • 1 Lb. - Ground Beef

  • 3-4 Cups - Cooked Rice

  • 2 TBSP - Olive Oil

  • 1 TBSP - Italian Seasonings

  • 1 Batch - Quick Microwave Marinara (click here for recipe)

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • Fresh Parsley

  • Parmesan Cheese

Preparation:

  1. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add beef, italian seasonings and salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Once beef is cooked, add rice and marinara sauce.

  4. Sprinkle with some fresh parsley and grated cheese.

  5. Serve and enjoy!


Tips:

  • Substitute ground turkey for the beef.

  • This recipe is a great way to use leftover sauce or use your favorite jarred sauce.

  • Get creative! Use cauliflower rice, quinoa, or small bite sized pasta in place of rice.
