4-Ingredient Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 Sticks - Salted Butter

  • 1-1/2 Cups - Flour

  • 1/2 Cup - Confectioners Sugar

  • 1 Tsp - Pure Vanilla Extract

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350º.

  2. Beat butter until smooth using a stand or hand mixer.

  3. Add flour, sugar, extract. Mix together until dough forms.

  4. Place tablespoon size dollops onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper about 2" apart.

  5. Leave as is, or slightly press down to form a flatter cookie.

  6. Bake approximately 13-15 minutes until edges are slightly browned.

  7. Remove, cool on sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.

  8. Serve and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Get creative! Use different flavor extract. Add jam between two cookies to make a sandwich cookie. the tops of cooled cookies in a sugar glaze, melted chocolate, or our Homemade Nutella!
